I've installed the KWizCom Workflow Activity Toolkit yet when I try to add one of these new activities into a workflow using SharePoint Designer, nothing happens.
-Close SPD if it is open > Open My Computer > Click the address bar > Paste in: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache then delete everything within this location.
-Click the address bar > Paste in: %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache and delete everything in this location also
If you are using 2010 workflow, this could be due to a caching issue. In order to resolve this behavior:
-Open up SharePoint Designer
-Navigate to the "File" menu and then select "Options" > "General" > "Application Options".
-On the “General” tab, under the “General” heading, uncheck “Cache site data across SharePoint Designer sessions”.
On your web front end server(s) go to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\YourWebApp and open the web.config file. Make sure that the following entry is present there between the <authorizedTypes> tag:
<authorizedType Assembly="KWizCom.SharePoint.Workflow.ActivityToolkit, Version=126.96.36.199, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=30fb4ddbec95ff8f" Namespace="KWizCom.SharePoint.Workflow.ActivityToolkit.Activities" TypeName="*" Authorized="True" />
If it is not, copy the above entry and paste it between the tags then save the web.config file.
If you are using 2013 workflow, the Workflow Activity Toolkit is currently not supported for use with 2013 workflows currently. 2010 workflows can still be used with SharePoint 2013 however and we recommend using a 2010 workflow if you wish to create a workflow involving the Workflow Activity Toolkit.
