iMush Scan does not work

Summary

iMush has special folder “TempFiles” in “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\KWizCom_iMushFeature” which used as storage for temporary files. iMush uses application pool account in order to write temporary file to the folder. The application pool user is member of “WSS_WPG” group which should have “WRITE” permission for the folder.

iMush Scanning Feature for SharePoint 2007: 1.x.xx and below

iMush Scanning Feature for SharePoint 2010: 11.x.xx and below

Resolution

Change permissions for the “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\KWizCom_iMushFeature\TempFiles” folder. The “WSS_WPG” group should have write permissions.
